Mw. drs. P.E. David (Pepita)
Pepita David (1963) studied clinical psychology at the University of Amsterdam (MSc). She continued her 4 year specialization as a psychotherapist in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults.
Following, she worked with adults in a psychiatric day hospital giving individual and group therapy, and in an outpatient clinic. She continued working for an organisation treating patients who suffered from traumatic experiences and work related issues. Nowadays, as a registered trusted counselor she advises companies regarding the prevention and restriction of unwanted work behaviours such as bullying, conflicts, discrimination and sexual harassment. She has been an independent mental health care professional since 2007, running her own private practice for psychotherapy, coaching, training and supervision.
She works with Dutch clients as well as with people from the expatriate community treating different psychological problems and complaints. She is specialised in post-traumatic stress disorder. She is a trainer and supervisor in Brief Eclectic Psychotherapy for PTSD. She is working for Foundation Centrum ’45, the main Dutch National Center for psychological trauma treatment and expertise, treating police officers and other trauma vicims with post-traumatic stress disorder.
